Siya Xaba Reconnects With His Former Gomora Colleagues
Siya Xaba Reconnects With His Former Gomora Colleagues. This is without a doubt what we love to see. Industry peers getting together to support each other and just have fun. Gomora cast members are a shinning example that celebrities need each other, just to survive this harsh industry.
On Wednesday evening the cast and crew members of Gomora joined a large number of South African for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. South Africa’s very own Connie Chuime has been cast on the international movie. The actress who also stars in Gomora as Mam’ Sonto was over the moon as her colleagues came in numbers to support her.
Also spotted at the event was former Gomora cast member Siyabonga Xaba. The talented actor and producer played the role of Langa on the hit Mzansi Magic drama series. Siya left Gomora in June 2021, when his character Langa died tragically as a victim of arson. By then, the award winning show, shot in Alexandra township was on its 2nd season.
This though hasn’t stopped Langa from interacting with his former colleagues. He wrote, produced, and directed a Showmax film called Carrots. The film stars two of his former co-stars being, Siphesihle Ndaba (who plays Mazet) and Ama Qamata who plays his sister Buhle. Ndaba plays the role of Faye in Carrots while Qamata plays the role of Emily.
We just love how Siya got another opportunity to have fun with his former colleagues and friends. He posed with the likes of Cee-cee, Lerato Mokoka, Ntobeko Sishi and Lulu Hela.
