Penny Lebyane Announces New TV Hosting Gig. The Big Secret is back for another season, with a brand new presenter. Penny Lebyane has taken over the reigns from Masechaba Khumalo after a three year hiatus.

For two seasons, Penny was the host of Sangoma, Khanyisa show on Honey TV where viewers go on a journey to spiritual healing with Mkhulu Rametsi. He ventures into the spiritual realm to find out if anything or anyone might be the cause of their sorrows. A few days ago, Penny released a statement announcing her departure from the show.

“I have come at the decision to depart from the show, in pursuit of opportunities that I had put aside to ensure that African spirituality was authentically presented,” she said.

When one door closes, others open. This is the case with Penny, who is now on to another show. She has just been announced as the new presenter of The Big Secret. The BET reality show encourages people to come clean and reveal their darkest secrets to their family, friends, colleagues or anyone they feel to open up to.

The first seasons were hosted by media personality and actress Khanyi Mbau. Media personality Masechaba Khumalo, then took over from her. We now can’t wait to see what Penny will bring to the show.
