ICYMI! Cornet Mamabolo Joins The River. It is always a great thing to see a talented actor makes a comeback to the small screen. One such is Cornet Mamabolo, who is now back with a new role in a different production.

In September 2021, the talented actor and entrepreneur announced that he was temporarily taking a break from Skeem Saam. Cornet played Thabo T-Bose Maputla on the SABC1 hit show, having started with the role from season I, 11 years ago. T-Bose started off as a mischievous teenager, who landed in deep trouble for killing Ben Kunutu. He also impregnated his girlfriend Mapitse (Mogau Motlhatswi), and dumped her. As the years went by, T-Bose matured into a very responsible young man, with a whole career, and Mapitse as his wife.

Although it was sad to see Cornet take a break from his role, it was good for him on a personal note as he wanted to focus on his insurance business. The good thing though is that, he kept on appearing on Skeem Saam, which gives hope that in due course Cornet will be back on the show.

While we are still waiting for that to happen, another production has snatched Cornet. He has just joined the cast of The River, where he plays the character of Lerumo. We definitely can’t wait to see Cornet kill this role as he joins the star studded cast of the multi-award winning 1Magic telenovela.

“I know you missed me on your screens… I’m coming different this time as LERUMO on THE RIVER,” Cornet announced.
