Hungani Ndlovu Dragged For His Views About Pit Bull. As the saying goes, A dogs is a man’s best friend. This is because of all the animals out there dogs have very special bonds with human beings. They act as security, companions, some are guards for the blind, some are used by police officers to fight crime among other activities.
Sadly, at the end of the day, they are animals and can switch on the owners just like that. One breed that is well known for being vicious is the Pit Bull. Over the past weeks the breed has been trending on social media, with so many users asking for it to be banned in the country.
Towards the end of September, one child lost their life to two pit bull. The 10-year-old Gelvandale boy, was sadly mauled to death by the family’s two pit bulls at his house in Antia Drive. The incident took place when the deceased and two other children were in the house with the two family dogs. The other children were unharmed during the incident.
Just a couple of days ago, there was an incident in which an 8 year old boy was also killed by a Pit Bull .It is alleged the dog escaped from its enclosure and jumped over the fence into the neighbor’s premises at around 2pm on Saturday. The call for banning the dog then intensified, and according to reports at least 49 Pit Bulls have been surrendered to SPCA by dog owners in Bloemfontein.
Talented actor Hungani Ndlovu joined in on the pit bull conversation. Sharing his two cents, he tweeted that dog owners should be the ones to be blamed instead of putting the blame on Pit Bulls.
Judging by the comments, not so many people agreed with Hungani’s views.
