Bonang Bags a Top Women Media Personality 2022 Award. She is definitely back with a bang. After taking sometime off the limelight Bonang Matheba has returned to reclaim her position as the queen of our entertainment industry.
At the beginning of the month the multi-award winning media personality and entrepreneur partnered up with Steve Madden shoe brand, making the B Force all proud. Dubbed the Steve Madden Bonang Matheba Holiday Select Collection, Bonang has released six footwear and two handbag styles that she believes encompass South Africa’s December festive season.
Adding on to her impressive collection, Bonang has just bagged a Top Women Media Personality 2022 at the recent Standard Bank Top Women awards. The award was presented to her by another phenomenal woman, who has been in the music industry for decades, Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

The Standard Bank Top Women awards recognizes outstanding leadership in individuals and organizations which have stepped up and shaped women’s roles within the public and private sectors. The awards cover all the major economic sectors and recognize businesses from SMMEs all the way to the national level.
Other women honored include Celiwe Ross, for Top Women Business Leader of the year, Precious Nala for Top Women Young Achiever among many other recipients.
