“My Heart Breaks!” Connie Ferguson Mourns David Phetoe. On Thursday the nation received sad news that veteran actor David Phetoe has died. Fellow industry peers, fans, family and friends took to social media to share their special tributes and messages of condolences.

Phetoe died at the age of 85 at a Johannesburg hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The SABC released a media statement which says the late Mr Phetoe died from kidney failure even though he suffered from prostate cancer.
