Pics! Check Out How Cast Members Rocked the Launch of Blood Psalms. Tuesday evening our stars gathered together for the launch premier of Blood Psalm series. The storyline takes us through an ancient Africa, one thousand years after the fall of Atlantis, the five surviving houses of Kemet find themselves beset with fears of a prophesied end of days.

Enhle Mbali Thando Thabethe Khanya Mkangisa Bokang Phelane Zikhona Sodlaka and Ayanda Daweti

Princess Zazi, played by Bokang Phelane, must navigate primordial curses, long standing ancestral vendettas, and her inexplicable role as the damning prophecy’s chief harbinger. Multiple SAFTA winning actor Mothusi Magano, plays her father, mad King Letsha, while another award winning star Hlubi Mboya plays her mother.

The series boast a number of our talented actors among them being Zolisa Xaluva who plays General Toka, the head of Akachi army. Richard Likunku plays Senator Jabari, while Zikhona Sodlaka plays his mistress Sithenjwa. Other cast members with lead roles are Thando Thabethe, Bongile Mantsai, Hamilton Dlamini, Wiseman Mcube, S’dumo Mtshali, Siv Ngesi and the veteran Sello Maake kaNcube.

The first episode of Blood Psalm has just been dropped, and already viewers can’t get enough. So many people are happy that African history is now being told in various forms in our time.
