Makhadzi Pledges to Help Dr Malinga Recover Financially. He has been trending on social media since appearing on Podcast and Chill with MacG on Thursday. In the emotional interview, Dr Malinga opened up about his repossessed assets.

Controversial Twitter journalist, Musa Khawula broke the story a couple of weeks back that SA Revenue Service came to Dr Malinga’s house and took his furniture. During his sit down with MacG, the musician confirmed that he was contacted by SARS and told he owed them more than R2m. He then paid the first R1m and made a monthly payment plan but failed to sustain that. 

“I was calling people I worked with. I called many people, but they didn’t come to my rescue. Every time I would call people and ask can you help and they never did,” the emotional Malinga said.

One thing about the entertainment industry is that, people only associate with you when you are doing very well. But when you are down and dry, friends are really few. Malinga can definitely attest to this, because no one of his peers was available to assist him.

Thanks to being on the podcast some people reached out to him including Makhadzi. The multi-award winning musician wants to book Dr. Malinga for her One Woman Show which is set to take place at Makhuvha stadium on 1 October. Taking to Twitter Makhadzi asked anyone with Malinga’s management contacts to reach out to her.

“I would like Dr malinga to come perform at my one woman show . I sent a DM for sure he didn’t see it. I really want to support him from bottom of my heart. Anyone with management contact please DM me,” Makhadzi said.

The good news is that Makhadi finally got Dr Malinga , and she has promised to not exploit him.
