Gail Mabalane Celebrates Her Husband’s 20Years of Being Clean and Sober. For a person to achieve this kind of a massive milestone, they need a strong support system by their side. That is why when we applaud Kabelo Mabalane for two decades of sobriety, we also have to include those close to him.
Kabelo was into drinking, weed, ecstasy and cocaine. Having been hooked since 1999, it was only in 2002 that the award winning musician, author, pastor and motivational speaker, decided enough was enough. Kabelo is now a responsible family man, married to Gail Mabalane with two beautiful kids. Through his story, he continues to inspire many young South Africans dealing with the same problem.
“Today 20 years ago, a ride like no other began. This journey has made me more realistic, I now believe in miracles. Thank you Jesus.
If I can do it, you can do it too,” Kabelo said of his achievement.
A lot of people including personalities such as Basetsana Kumalo and his wife Gail, took to the comments section to commend Kabelo. Gail also took to her own Instagram to share a post about her amazing husband. The talented actress stated that Kabelo inspire her so much, and expressed how proud of him she is.
Th inspirational couple has been together for 11 years as a couple and in February, they celebrated nine years of married life.
