After 7 Years of Trying Thato Finally Gets a Role In a Telenovela. She is the epitome of persistence, hard work and passion. Thato Mokoena has been in the industry for so many years, but her breakthrough came in 2022.

A lot of people got to know the reality TV star, TV personality, actor and dancer through Big Brother Mzansi Season III, where she finished in the Top 8. While she was still in the house, it was quite clear that Thato was destined for stardom. She killed the presenting tasks, and was forever on the dance floor at every given opportunity.

After she was evicted from the house, Thato made it clear that she wanted a break in the industry. She caught the attention of a number of shows, and eventually made it on HomeGround as one of the presenters. Thato will also get to host Social Media Awards together with Mohale Motaung and Weza Matomane come the 26th of November 2022.

Another major gig has just come Thato’s way, and she is over the moon. The pint-sized star has revealed that she bagged a role in a telenovela. Taking to Twitter, Thato states that after 7 years of countless auditions, callbacks and rejections, she finally got a part. Come January 2023, we will all get to see Thato fulfill one of her dreams.
