“I Would Give Anything for Kairo to Have More Time With You Kiernan,” DJ Zinhle

Over the past week, DJ Zinhle dedicated her social media pages to paying tribute to AKA. She mostly shared fond memories of the rapper with her daughter, Kairo Forbes.

The DJ and entrepreneur has now posted what many believe is her final tribute to AKA. She started apologizing to his baby daddy about how he has been robbed of his time with his daughter, his partner Nadia Nakai, the entire family and SA at large.

The two have been successfully co-parenting their daughter, despite always getting backlash fro society. Zinhle and AKA always got together for Kairo’s birthdays, and they always commended each other on such days like Fathers and Mothers Days.

“I would give anything for Kairo to have more time with you Kiernan. The thought of her asking questions breaks me. What do I do when she misses and needs you?”

“The last time I saw you, you told me how proud you are of us and how well we were co-parenting, we had come a long way and even though it challenged a lot of people in how well we co-parented. It was never about society or us, it was always about our daughter and what was best for her,” Zinhle said.

All this was possible because they quickly learnt that their differences should not be a burden for their daughter. They didn’t let their past mistakes deprive Kairo of a happy childhood with love from both mom and dad. “I am so glad we figured itout, it’s as if we knew you would not be around long enough. Thank you for loving her the way you did.”
