Thembi Seete Gushes Over Her First Live Show as an Idols SA Judge. This past Sunday was definitely not her first time on the judging panel of Idols SA. The only difference is that then, Thembi Seete was a guest judge, and this time around she got the job permanently.
On Idols SA Season 17, Thembi came through as one of the guest judges, and she was an instant fan favorite. Her experience, love for the industry, and compassion for contestants left viewers asking for more of her. Well, the impression that she left also extended to the producers of the show who found it fit to rope her in as a judge for season 18.
We can’t deny the asset that she is to the show. The veteran musician, media personality and award winning actress blends in well with other judges. Somizi and Jr Bogopa, sometimes give tough love, but Thembi is there to leave the contestants feeling better about themselves, even if their performances were not that great.
As the competition intensifies, the Top 12, are doing all they can to bag a spot in the Top 10. So far, the first batch to sing for the judges, as well as fans of the show, brought their A-game, and we can’t wait for the second group to showcase what they have. As much as they all won’t make it in, these upcoming stars should be proud of themselves for how far they have come in the competition.
