SAFTAs Reveal Their Main Show Hosts. Just two days ago, we had a blast witnessing the South African Music Awards. As expected, from the hot red carpet, the impressive hosts, lively performances to deserving winners, everything about the SAMAs was just perfect and on point.
We now have another award show, and we can’t wait. In just a few days, the South African Film and Television Awards 16th edition will be bringing us all the glitz and glam. The awards celebrate South Africa’s outstanding film and television talent, and this year they will be held under the theme, ‘Frame the Future.’
Just like many awards out there, the SAFTAs come with job opportunities for our creatives. Some will be doing sound, stage, make up, wardrobe, catering, you name it. One of the most lucrative gigs that come with award shows is definitely hosting. This year, the SAFTAs have roped in a talented trio to be as the hosts of the main awards show.
One of the hosts is Khutso Theledi, who is fresh from being an MC at The Love Tour with Cici and Donald. The talented media personality will be holding it down with award-winning comedian Mpho Popps as well as actor and TV host Ryle Rene De Morny. We cannot wait to be entertained by these talented personalities come Saturday.
The SAFTAs will take place on 03 September 2022 and they will be simulcasted on SABC3 and Mzansi Magic, Channel 161.
