Cici Making Us All Nostalgic With This Cool Rhythm City Throwback. It goes without saying that it was one of the most entertaining shows on our TV screens. Sadly on the 16th of July 2021, we had to bid farewell to Rhythm City as they aired their last episode.
The e.tv soapie has introduced us to a lot of new talent. Among those is Busisiwe Cici Twala. Although the personality was already in the entertainment industry as a musician the Rhythm City job was her very first acting gig. The award winning singer was cast to play Lihle, a gold-digger, who would do anything to get things done her way. Lihle was in a relationship with Fats, but dropped him as soon as he became financially unstable.
Cici has just decided to throw us back to the good old Rhythm City days with a cool throwback. She shared a video clip of her character Lihle telling Fats off, after he lost his recording deal at Red Records. Lihle wanted to do nothing with him thereafter, because in her won words, she had to protect herself as a brand.

Although Cici’s character on Rhythm City was short lived, she definitely made an impression. A couple of year later in 2020, she bagged a role in the award winning film, Kings of Joburg. She joined the likes of Shona Ferguson, Thembi Seete, Zolisa Xaluva, Thembi Seete, Sthembiso Khoza, Abdul Khoza, and Tsholo Matshaba, who are in the film.
