Junior Videographer Wanted At HomeChoice

HomeChoice is looking for a talented and dedicated videographer to join their organization. The successful applicant will be based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit video content using basic effects
• Edit video content supplied by other employees within the business unit
• Coordinate and setup projects, with time schedules to deliver content to various departments
• Coordinate shooting schedules and production for in-house videography
• Manage the exporting of video to selected formats
• Source sound tracks for videos
• Communicate and liaise with managers and other head of departments
• Communicate and liaise with outsourced companies for television productions
• Set-up, correspond and coordinate productions for television commercials by external suppliers
• Manage a production from client brief through to final execution

Qualifications & Accreditations

• A certificate or diploma in videography
• A certificate or diploma in video post-production

Experience & Skills

• 1 – 2 Years’ relevant industry experience
• A good understanding of video and audio production and editing techniques
• Ability to shoot with DSLR cameras (Nikon and Canon)
• Basic understanding of cameras and lighting
• Experience and good understanding of the following software:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro (Preferred software)
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Microsoft Office for Mac
• Knowledge of the following software is optional, but would be beneficial:
  • Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Capture One Pro
• Coordinating experience such as setting up production schedules
• Experience in working on Mac computer systems
