Over the past couple of months, she has been booked and busy abroad. Just recently Uncle Waffles mesmerized the audience in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Portugal and Netherlands. They can’t seem to get enough of her. Each of the places that Uncle Waffles recently performed at were sold out. Talk about star power!
After captivating thousands of fans in Amsterdam a few days back, more deals came through. Among those who expressed interest to have Uncle Waffles perform for him is Jesse Lingard. He revealed that he will be booking her for his birthday party which is expected to hold on the 15th of December.
The former Manchester United football player was impressed by the talented DJ after watching her playing an electrifying set in Amsterdam. Sharing part of the performance on his Instagram stories, he wrote, “need Uncle Waffles at my birthday, for real.”
Upon hearing the mind blowing news, Uncle Waffles gushed, “That’s crazy…WHAT!!”
Should this gig go through, it wont be the first time a young South African artist gets to perform for an international star. Just a few months back, talented artist and former Idols SA contestant Lloyiso had the honor of performing at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicole Peltz’s. The newlyweds had their first dance to “Only Fools Rush In”, performed by our very own Lloyiso. Even Vogue Magazine, featured him in an article they ran about the wedding. Now how cool is that!
