“No One Hates South Africans As Much As South Africans,” Lerato Kganyago on the Hate Shauwn Mkhize is Receiving. Ever since Dr Shauwn Mkhize ventured in the entertainment industry, she became one of the most talked about personalities in the country.
Known by many as Mam’Mkhize, Shwauwn has managed to juggle being a socialite, businesswoman, philanthropist and television personality all at the same time. Because of her success and lifestyle, Mam’Mkhize is always making headlines on both social media and the mainstream media. Just this past few days, she trended after she came through for KZN flood victims by building houses for them.
Over the weekend, Mam’Mkhize attended the BET Awards in the US, and of course she made headlines. Entertainment blogger, Musa Khawula shared a video of Mam’Mkhize at the awards and made fun of the fact that no one was interested in taking pictures of her. A lot of people joined in, stating that she is not that big a deal she claims to be.
One tweep though, differed, stating that South Africans enjoy bringing a fellow S.African down. “We should be celebrating her. She’s holding our flag on an international platform. Why can’t we look at that as opposed to this jealousy. It’s unbecoming.“
Agreeing with the tweep, Lerato Kganyago said.”Because we are mean spirited, vile and hate our own!!! No one hates South Africans as much as South African“.
