ICYMI: Lalela Mswane Walks Away with the Miss Supranational 2022 Crown. She has done it again. At this rate, Lalela Mswane is going to the beauty queen with the most international pageant crowns in the whole world.
This past Friday, 25 year old Lalela was crowned Miss Supranational 2022, which took place at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheatre in Nowy SΔ cz, Poland. Lalela beat other contestants from 69 countries, which includes Thailand, Zambia, Venezuela, Kenya and Indonesia.
Since Friday night, she has been showered with messages of congratulations, including some from fellow pageant queens Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, Miss South Africa 1994 Basetsana Kumalo and Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni, among others.
“With this crown I carry the hopes, dreams of women who have come before me and those to come. It serves as affirmation that no dream is too small, no journey insurmountable to conquer. May it be a constant reminder to allow your feet to lead you to wherever it is your heart desires.

Currently Lalela has three crowns on her head, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. She is the current reigning Miss South Africa, having won the pageant in October 2021. Immediately after winning Miss SA, Lalela had a tough decision to make over representing the country ate Miss Universe 2021. Despite the backlash, she went ahead representing SA and was crowned the second runner-up at the prestigious pageant held in Israel in 2021.
