Lethabo LeJoy Mathatho Celebrates 19 Years of Broadcasting With A Sense of Gratitude. Being in the industry for so long, more so as a woman, is quite commendable. Letahbo Lejoy Mathato started her career on radio in 2006 and since then she is a household name in the entertainment industry. Beyond radio, Lejoy is also a TV personality, reality show star and entrepreneur.
She started her radio journey in the commercial radio space at Jacaranda FM, Capricorn FM, GT FM and currently with Thobela FM, a public broadcasting radio station. Now Lejoy is here, celebrating 19 solid years of experience in radio as an on-air personality.

The award winning Lejoy has navigated her way from radio into television, becoming a well-known superstar. She has also shined in producing, hosting, managing programmes and as a deputy news editor. In 2019 Lejoy joined the Real Housewives of Johannesburg (S2&3). She made an impact on the show, and remains one of the most talked about cast members.
In 2020-2021 she then got to host a 13 Part Series show on Mzansi Magic that touched the hearts of the country as she was tackling the issues behind children and their sense of belonging called Ingane Yam. In 2013 she produced a current affairs show on SABC2 Leihlo la Sechaba. She went on to become the main host for the same current affairs show.
