Thuli Phongolo Joins a New Music Show as a Judge. It goes without saying that Amapiano took South Africa and the rest of the world by storm. The music genre is proudly South African, and a number of our artists have performed it on international stages. Just recently Major League DJz made it in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022 line up, where they killed it with Amapiano.
While on her visit here, American superstar Kelly Rowland danced to Amapiano music at Bontle Modiselle Dance Studios. This goes on to show, how much this genre is loved both locally and abroad. There is a new Amapiano music show, Amapiano’s Next Superstar that is coming along, and fans out there are super excited.
Amapiano’s Next Superstar show will pair music producers with vocalists and/or lyricists who will compete against each other to be Amapiano’s next super star. MC, musician, comedian and TV personality, Robot Boii has been announced as the host of the new music show. He will host alongside music sensation, Bontle Smith.
Mr Jazziq, Thuli Phongolo and DJ Qness will be the judges on Amapiano’s Next Superstar show. Auditions for the show are now open and they will close on the 30th of June 2022.
