Thando Thabethe Shares How Her Ex Fiance Proposed to Her. In December 2017, Thando Thabethe’s then partner Frans Mashao, went down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. Thando was all excited and immediately took to social media where she shared her great news.

This is one celebrity wedding that fans were eagerly waiting for. Sadly she didn’t get to walk down the aisle as she and Mashao called off the engagement and split. This came after rumors of cheating by Thando’s ex.

Taking us down memory lane, the media personality, actress and entrepreneur recently opened up more about her engagement to Mashao. On the 947 Breakfast With Thando show, she told the story of how her then boyfriend got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.

Thando started off by asking her co hosts how they proposed, and they share quite romantic stories. Frankie revealed that he bought his wife a horse, which is her favorite animal, and the horse wore a sash which was written ‘Would You Marry Me’. Sharing her story, Cindy revealed that she got engaged in Florence Italy, and her husband pulled out a ring while they were enjoying the sunset.

When it came to Thando to share her story, her co hosts were all ears to her how romantic it was. Her man took her out to North Gate Shopping Centre and they ended up at the Ice Skating Rink. Thando got the surprise of her life, when Mashao went on on knee on the ice, and produced a ring.

At that time, she was all excited, more so since she didn’t know that she was walking into her engagement moment. But come it think of it now, Thando wishes Mashao could have out a bit of effort, and do something to blow her away.
