Thando Thabethe, who lost her brother tragically seven years ago can definitely attest to this.

In 2015, Sibu Thabethe, was shot dead in an armed robbery, an incident that has affected his family and loved ones, including Thando. Sibu did not live to see his 31st birthday, and in 2021 when Thando turned 31, she dedicated that special day for her late brother. The celebrated media personality, DJ and actress stated that it was a special birthday as she was celebrating and living for two.

Today Sibu would have been turning 37 years old. Back then this could be a happy day with family and friends celebrating with him. Sadly this is only a memory that remains as a reminder of the terrible loss that they suffered. Remembering this day, Thando who recently celebrated her 32nd birthday says it is a tough day for her.
