Mpho Maboi Announces Her Return to Radio. True as they say that when one door closes, several others open. Mpho Maboi can attest to this statement, because every time when her radio gigs come to an end, she eventually gets called back again at a different radio station.
In March 2021, the media personality and sports broadcaster announced that she was leaving POWER 98.7. This cam after she has been with the station for a year, holding it down on the midweek show, Power Lunch. On the show, Mpho gave listeners an overview of what is happening around the world. Sadly when POWER FM introduced their adjusted line-up for 2021, Mpho didn’t make the cut.
Being as multi-talented as she is, it was a given that Mpho was going to find a new radio home in no time. She shared a few weeks back that she misses being on radio, and guess who is now back behind the mic! Starting for the 1st of July, Mpho will be doing her thing at Kaya FM, working alongside one of her good friends Sizwe Dhlomo.
“A few weeks ago I posted ‘bout how I’m missing Radio & Modimo le Badimo didn’t blue tick me Happy to announce I’m back on the airwaves starting tomorrow (July 1st) joining #KayaDrive on @KayaOnAir wit @SizweDhlomo,” Mpho said in excitement.
