How to Ruin Christmas: The Baby Shower Currently in Production. What is December without How to Ruin Christmas! In December 2020, we killed the Covid-19 blues with How to ruin Christmas: The Wedding. We got to see Tumi Sello, the black sheep of the family who returns just to ruin her younger sister Beauty’s wedding, before it even takes place. Tumo then spend the next three days frantically trying to get things back on track.
In December 2021, we got part two of the Netflix series, How to Ruin Christmas: The Funeral. The sequel brought us Beauty and Sbu’s first wedding anniversary, Lydia and Themba’s first Christmas as parents and the family’s first Christmas without their beloved matriarch, Gogo Twala. She unfortunately passed away after a fun-filled day under the not-so-watchful eye of Tumi. There was so much drama at the funeral, all thanks to Tumi who is always followed by drama. The season also came with a new face in the name of veteran actress, Thembi Nyandeni.
The popular Netflix series which has won awards from the South African Film and Television awards, as well as Golden Horn awards, is once again making a comeback this year.
