Nomcebo Zikode Gushes Over Meeting Her Favorite International Football Star. Nothing in the world beats the feeling of meeting your favorite international star. It doesn’t happen often, but once it does you can’t help but take pictures for bragging rights.
As much as she is a celebrated personality, there are icons that Nomcedo Zikode, gets excited over meeting. The talented singer and songwriter travels the world every now and then, and obviously she meets superstars in some places. She recently landed in Dubai, and already having the time of her life.
The highlight of Nomcebo‘s trip so far is definitely meeting Brazilian soccer star, Ronaldinho. Although he has retired as a professional footballer, Ronaldinho is still one of the most respected sportsmen alive. Meeting up with him and posing for pictures is a big deal, that is worth being excited about.
“I never thought that one day I will finally meet up with my favourite soccer star @ronaldinho the stars finally met up,” Nomcebo gushed.
Nomcedo is also an inspirational star in her own right. Before making it big, she worked mostly as a backing singer for over fifteen years for artists, like Deborah Fraser, Zahara, Lundi Tyamara, and Nhlanhla Nciza.
In November 2019, she was featured on “Jerusalem” single by Master KG and went viral in early 2020, a song that made her travel the world. Nomcebo’s debut studio album Xola Moya Wam was released on August 21, 2020 and was certified platinum after a month of its release with sales of 150 000 copies.
In 2020, Nomcebo signed a global record deal with Sony/ATV Music. Because of her talent, she won at the 1st KZN Entertainment Awards for Best Female Artist category. At the 27th South African Awards, Xola Moya Wam was nominated as Best dance Album.
