Mbuso Mandela Gets Bailed Out By His Big Brother Ndaba
Mbuso Mandela Gets Bailed Out By His Big Brother Ndaba. Talk about being your brother’s keeper! Mbuso Mandela, who is always trending for the wrong reasons, has his big brother to thank for his freedom.
Mbuso, who happens to be the late Nelson Mandela’s grandson was recently arrested. He found himself on the wrong side of the law this time around, allegedly for possession of unlicensed firearm and drugs. According to City Press, the 30-year-old was arrested on Wednesday night following a police raid at his Morningside apartment in Johannesburg.
He has been granted bail of R1 000 after briefly appearing at the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on Friday. Mbuso’s big brother Ndaba Mandela, came to his rescue, by bailing him out. Ndaba took to Twitter to state that he has been cautioning his brother against the company that he keeps for the past four years. He hopes this time Mbuso will listen and stay away from trouble.
The case has been postponed to June 29.
“Bailed my brother out this morning. Been telling him 4 years now to watch the company he keeps… Can’t do time for other people’s kak! Hope the penny really dropped this time,” Ndaba said.
This is not his first time with the law. Back in 2015, Mbuso was accused of rape, but the charges were dropped in 2016. The following year, he found himself behind bars for not paying child support. Mbuso’s baby mama accused him of squandering his R4-million inheritance from the struggle icon. A warrant for his arrest was issued after he failed to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s court.
