I am Going Through a Lot,” Samthing Soweto Addresses His Weight Loss. Body shaming is one of the worst forms of bullying anyone can go through. When people mock you based on your physical appearance, it hits hard, more so when there isn’t much you can do about how you look.

A number of our personalities have sadly experienced the worst body shaming remarks. When a famous person, gains or lose weight, they immediately make headlines. The likes of Mampintsha, Minnie Dlamini, Sophie Ndaba, Unathi and the late Kuli Roberts have been trolled mercilessly on social media because of their sudden change on weight.

Another celebrity who is at the mercy of social media trolls over his weight is Samthing Soweto. The multi-award winning musician has lost a considerable amount of weight lot, making him trend online. Some have shown concern on his recent appearance, while others are body shaming Something Soweto and making fun of him.

As the concerns and comments about his weight escalates, Samthing Soweto has decided to address them. Taking to Twitter, he took to Instagram saying that he is not ill but rather going through a lifestyle change. Just like everyone who works out and changes their diet, he explained that he was bound to shed off some weigh.

Samthing Soweto, however noted that he is going through some personal things, but they have nothing to do with his weight.

“I wanted to address that and also say, thank you. I am going through a lot. There are things that I might not talk about because they are personal. But right now it feels like the concern and love is something that most of us as artists need because sometimes we feel like you forget us. The public forgets us and when we go through a lot, we need the support, love, and affection,” he said.
