Bonang Matheba Joins the Likes of David Beckham and Other Stars on a Cool Campaign. We are used to seeing her bag gigs and be part of campaigns that are all about glitz and glam. Having noted that, Bonang Matheba has also used her social status to stand up for campaigns with a good cause. She is well known for her philanthropic work, which is quite commendable.

From putting girls through school, to helping those affected by natural disasters, Bonang is always coming through to those in need. This time around the media personality and entrepreneur has joined other global stars to fight the pandemic that is Malaria. Every minute a child loses their life to Malaria, and it is a serious cause for concern.

The continent’s biggest stars are coming together to beat the world’s oldest and deadliest disease. Through the #ZeroMalaria campaign, Bonang these celebrated stars aim to turn the pressure up on world leaders so that they commit to reaching a point where the disease is no more.

The campaign boast other world recognized stars like soccer legend David Beckham, multi-award winning Nigerian singer Yemi Alade, Gabon football player Auba and Ethiopian Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge. Our very own Siya Kolisi is one of the ambassadors of Zero Malaria campaign. The world cup-winning South African Rugby Captain, wants to use his voice to give back and to help save and protect lives through fighting malaria.

“Honoured to be part of this campaign,” Bonang said.
