“Farewell Pretty Wings,” Kgolo Mthembu Wishes the Best for Estranged Wife Annie. Annie Mthembu recently broke her silence and shed light about her marriage. After so much speculations from the public, she has admitted that she and Kgolo Mthembu have split up.

The former Real Housewives of Durban cast member, and entrepreneur took to Engineer Your Life podcast this week to share her story. Annie revealed that she and Kgolo have been on a 3 year separation. In the candid interview, she stated how she was left “highly embarrassed” when Kgolo’s alleged infidelity came to light. One can tell from her voice, that the pain still cuts deep.

“No one likes to be cheated on; you start asking yourself, are you enough? Is there something wrong with me?”

“I was highly embarrassed. I was not in a good place, and I just wanted to protect all of us from the situation even though I was not being protected.”

“Everybody knew things that I did not; I just wanted to protect myself and my children because at that point, even though I knew he was doing his things, I still wanted us to be a family,” she said.

Annie eventually chose herself, and walked away. She is now carving her new destiny as a mother and businesswoman intentionally. As many people commended her for her bravery, Kgolo joined the comments section, to add his two cents. The businessman apologized for what he put Annie through. He then wished her to find true love, healing and happiness.

“No matter the personal struggles I was facing , there’s never an excuse for dishonoring Gods blessings. I deeply regret the pain I’ve caused you. As the head of the family, I let everyone down.
