Denise Zimba’s Fibroids Lands Her in Hospital 2 Weeks After Her Wedding
Denise Zimba’s Fibroids Lands Her in Hospital 2 Weeks After Her Wedding. She has opened up in the past years about her struggles with endometriosis. Denise Zimba shared her story in 2019, after she gave birth to her daughter, Leah.
Many women who suffer from endometriosis struggle with having children. Before she fell pregnant, Denise had first had to get treatment for endometriosis. The TV personality, actress and singer was overjoyed over her pregnancy, more so since her chances of falling pregnant were just 1% after her treatment.
Denise is also battling with growing fibroids. Sadly they came back stronger shortly after one of the most important days of her life. Just two weeks after her wedding celebration, Denise was back in hospital for her fribroids.
Straight from a 2week Wedding Celebration, there hasn’t been much time to collect myself …
Most people know I suffer from endometriosis, and battling with growing fibroids. To conceive Leah was so difficult, and I hated the process. My body took a toll, and for someone who had – ‘THE BODY’ – it really weighs heavy on me till this day. I had to adjust to my new norm, where grueling and selfless pain is an ongoing journey,” Denise said.
She revealed that her fibroids swelled up so much, growing to almost the size of an orange. Although she is in pain, Denise took the opportunity to encourage women going through the same experience with uplifting words.
“Trust in the process of your life, for every experience has a lesson and a teaching that needs to be shared amongst one another. The true self worth is to show up for yourself, and stand in your glory, in order for grace to provide you with peace,” she said.
