Tributes Pour In for Talented Actor Siyanda Sesimani. The entertainment industry gets dealt another heavy blow. This past Friday we lost talented actor who has been in the game for years, Siyanda Sesimani. He succumbed to assault injuries, after being hospitalized for weeks.
31 year old Siyanda passed away after spending weeks in hospital in a coma after he was beaten to a pulp during a burglary at his home in Meredale on February 15. According to his good friend and fellow actor, after the attack Siyanda was admitted at Garden City Hospital with head injuries. He had a fracture on his skull and decided to take him to theatre on February 16 2022. The operation went well and he was responding well until February 21 2022, when he went into a cardiac arrest at about 5.30pm.
During the early hours on February 22 doctor said he had a seizure. After suffering the seizure Siya was taken for a scan on February 24 to investigate what caused the cardiac arrest. His doctor later explained to the family that the actor was brain dead and had extremely low chances of survival. Sadly he lost his life this Friday, on the 11th of March.
A candle ceremony was be held at his place on Sunday the 13th of March 2022.
Many came to know Siyanda for his stint onΒ Soul City where he played the character of Mandla. He also had roles on shows such as Ikhaya, Isithembiso and most recently The Estate. Ever since his death announcement, tributes have been pouring in for him from industry colleagues, fans and the public at large.
