Omuhle Gela Makes a Comeback to the Small Screen
Omuhle Gela Makes a Comeback to the Small Screen. Seeing someone back to doing what they love is the content we signed up for. Most of our actors who used to make waves back then, are now bagging new roles and we are here for it. One of those is Omuhle Gela who has been missing on TV for quite some time.
We first got introduced to Omuhle, when she played the character Busi Motsamia in SABC2 drama, Muvhango a decade ago. She then went on to bag roles on other major shows like Zabalaza, Generations, Umlilo and The Queen. It goes without saying, that she is among the best we have ever had in the industry.
The talented actress and TV personality has just scored herself a cool acting gig. Omuhle is among the new cast members who have joined SABC1 drama, Uzalo. She has been cast to play Nomaswazi Magwaza, a beautiful, smart, and conniving woman that moves stealthily, much like her mother, Njinji. The Magwaza family is definitely coming to shake things us, in the already dramatic show.
The Magwaza family is made up of some of the best actors in the game. The matriarch of the family is, played by Thembi Nyandeni, who is described as a ruthless wolf in sheep’s clothing, whose power-play dealings will shake the whole Kwamashu community. TV personality, comedian and actor Siyabonga Radebe will play, cousin Vikizitha Magwaza, who is a criminal.
“Cats out the bag I see. I’m so excited to be joining the cast of South Africa’s number 1 Soapie. @uzalo_sabc1 see you in May bangani,” Omuhle said.
