Lerato Mbele Celebrates Being Back on Local Radio After 15 Years of Working Abroad. No matter how green the grass is on the other side, home will always be the best place to be at. You thrive even more when you are in your own background surrounded by those that love you. This is probably why Lerato Mbele is so excited to be back home.
The veteran journalist and broadcaster has been working for the BBC for years now. Mbele was the presenter of Talking Business Africa, a lifestyle business show focusing on prominent entrepreneurs and their business mindset in the boardroom and on the factory floor. She Mbele joined BBC News to help launch and present Newsday on the BBC World Service with Lawrence Pollard. She was also the long standing presenter for Africa Business Report, a weekly programme that provided analyses on different sectors of the economy across African countries.
Now she is back in the country, serving where there is great need for some serious journalism. Mbele is excited to be on the Power FM lineup hosting a talk show titled Power Talk. The show aims at connecting the dots of humanity, as well as remind South Africans of their connection to the world and also learn from the rest of the world.
