Mr Smeg Announces a Cool Gig and Tweeps Are Here For It. There are so many opportunities out there, you just have to know which direction to search. One person who found his niche, and is now getting recognized is Michael Bucwa, who is well known on social media as Mr Smeg.
At first when he started posing with the luxury Smeg Kettle on every photo, many people got annoyed. They labelled him as a show off, while some though he is just seeking for attention in the lamest way. But guess what, Michael is now an influencer, thanks for not succumbing to all that negativity.
This past Saturday, he was the envy of many when he went on a lunch date with one of the most beautiful women in SA, Pearl Thusi. Local brands such as Mercedes Benz, Drip, Era by DJ Zinhle, Tshepo Jeans, Thabooty and others jumped in to make sure that the National Lunch Date becomes the success it was. All of this started on Twitter when Mr Smeg took that leap of faith and asked the media personality and actress out for lunch.
Although the date has passed, it still continues to bear fruits. Pearl and Mr Smeg are due for another date on Valentines Day. Talk about a lucky fish! On top of that Mercedes Benz has decided to expand their relationship with him. Mr Smeg has just scored himself an advert with their dealership in Sandton, and he will be the main act.
“I can’t believe that I am gonna be the Main Star kwi Advert ka Mercedes Benz Sandton,” Mr Smeg said.
Social media users are so happy for him over this gig, and impressed at how far he has come.
