“Being Part of #TheWifeShowmax Has Been Such a Great Experience,” Linda Majola. Could this be the end of Langa on the show? Linda Majola, who plays the roles has just penned what looks like a farewell note on Twitter.
Linda plays Langa, Hlomu’s flamboyant and outspoken twin brother. The social media content creator, actor and businessman, got the role after auditioning for it like everyone else. Before then, people knew Linda mostly from his hilarious TikTok videos when Covid-19 hit and lockdown was implemented. He showed off his creative side, and obviously production houses took note.
The Wife fans really loved Linda on the show, and the kind of spice he came with. As a gay character, Langa had to deal with a lot of homophobia from the Zulu brothers. He did not fold though, and made it clear that being gay is who he is. But now it looks like he is exiting The Wife, judging from his tweet.
“Being part of #TheWifeShowmax has been such a great experience. Thank you for taking a risk on me. Thank you for being patient and allowing me to grow on screen. To more opportunities,” Linda said.
If he is indeed leaving the show, fans shouldn’t worry that much. Linda will still be serving us entertainment as he has bagged yet another show. He is part of The Wedding Chef which is an upcoming cooking reality show. The production had sought a professional chef to host the show, and Linda was a perfect match, since he graduated with Cum Laude for his National Diploma in Catering Management at Durban University of Technology.
