Top Local Comedians On a Netflix Comedy Special. We have had such a heavy 2021, and this year we just need to catch a breather. The best way to do that is to find comfort in comedy as laughter is the best medicine. Making sure we will be laughing our lungs out in a few week’s time is some of our best comedians who have just bagged themselves a Netflix Comedy Special.
From the 6th of February 2022, six of South Africa’s top comedians will take center stage and showcase their talent in an amazing collection of short stand-up sets. Mpho “Popps” Modikoane, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Gilli Apter, Celeste Ntuli, Nina Hastie and Robby Collins will star on this one of a kind show titled, Only Jokes Allowed.
These comedians are as excited as us for the show. Award winning comedian Mpho took to Twitter to express his gratitude, “Look mamma, I’m in a Netflix comedy special.” TV personality and comedian Nina also gushed over the cool gig, “Somebody pinch me, is this a dream?” We definitely can’t wait for this quite interesting show, with an amazing cast.
