Lady Du and Andile Mxakaza Wish Each Other Well as They Announce Split. What a sad way to start the year. One of South Africa’s most loved couples have just announced that they have separated. Lady Du and Andile Mxakaza broke many of their fans’ hearts when they took to Instagram to state that they are no longer together.

The Amapiano singer and her talented actor bae, have been serving us nothing but couple goals when they were together. The two met about 12 years ago but were only able to date for four months. Lady Du and Andile rekindled their relationship in 2020, and got engaged three months into the relationship. In August 2020, the couple celebrated a year since they got engaged.

As they say even good things come to an end, and so has this relationship. Lady Du took to Instagram saying that they have decided to follow their hearts ans separate before thing get worse. She reasoned that the decision was taken because a number of people she didn’t even know have been attacking her and making her uncomfortable because of culture as well as her character.

“We also realized we want different things.
So we are both happy with the decision and we ask that you kindly respect it. It hasn’t affected any of us. Let it not affect you or make you sad.

It’s life. We all need to live honest lives,” she added.

Andile also shared his side of the story, saying he is proud of how Lady Du stood her ground and never gave up even when she was attacked by people.

“I want you to find true happiness and I am happy with the decision you made, you way stronger then you look.# qiniso lami,” he said.

Lady Du, then wished her now ex wish nothing but the best, “…..may God continue to bless your gentle heart, may he be with you in your journey of life. I thank you for the role you played in my life.”
