The Ranakas Reality Show Back for Season 5. This is by far one of the most loved reality shows in South Africa. This is because The Ranakas shows relatable content that many families can relate to. The craziness, the squabbles, the snitching, the chaos, and most importantly the love that they have among each other.

If you have been missing this colorful family, do not despair. Come this January The Ranakas will be back on our screens with more drama for a 5th season. On their fourth season, a lot happened including Manaka Ranaka’s surprise celebration to honor her 20 years in the acting industry. We also got to see some family members try to work through their issues, more especially sisters Dineo and Mpumi. There were also two more additions to the family, being Manaka’s son and her grandson among other features.

Dineo has just confirmed that Season 5 is upon us, and we definitely can’t wait. Among things to look forward to is the head of the family, Ntate Ranaka searching for his long lost sister. We will also get to see how the family coped during the whole pandemic, more so since they are in business and most of them are in the entertainment industry.

Season 5, will debut on Mzansi Magic on 6th January at 8PM.
