The certified makeup artist, YouTube content creator and influencer has just won herself an award. Mihlali walked away with the Social Media Personality of the Year at the recent South African Social Media Awards. She was not there in person though to receive the award, but sent a cool video instead. On the video Mihlali thanked those who voted, including the judges and the public.

Mihlali continues to prove that you can make a living from your presence in the digital space. She recently got nominated at the People’s Choice Awards for the African Social Star award. Mihlali will be battling it out with two South African media personalities, Boity Thulo and Lasizwe Dambuza as well as local TikTok sensation Witney Ramabulana. Other nominees in the category are Kenyan actress, Azziad Nasenya, Zimbabwean comedian and actress Tyra Chikocho AKA MadamBoss, Nigerian rapper Falz and Nigerian-American content creator and blogger, The Odditty.
