“No One Loved Me Like You Did,” V Mash’s Son Pens A Heartfelt Tribute To His Late Mom

“No One Loved Me Like You Did,” V Mash’s Son Pens A Heartfelt Tribute To His Late Mom. No matter how long ago a mother passed away, to her children their memories with her still remain fresh. Just the other day K Naomi took to social media to open up about the last days she had with her mother. The model and TV personality also shared some of the beautiful memories she has had with her mother who passed away nine years ago.

Another celebrity who always speaks about their late mother is Oratile Masedi. The social media star and actor is the one and only son of the late star Vinolia Mashego of Jam Alley fame. V Mash as she was famously known was one of the pioneers of our local entertainment industry. From TV hosting, acting and singing, V Mash did it all. Unfortunately there was a time when she was down and out, ending up as a destitute staying in an RDP house. But like they say, we fall to rise, she managed to come back to TV at a later stage in her life.

Sadly V Mash passed away in 2020 at the age of 56. At the time of her passing Vinolia was a presenter for Bheka Sik’bambile on Moja Love. She left behind her son Oratile, who is also making his own mark in the entertainment industry. He is famous for his social media videos where he shows of a variety of his talents which includes dancing and acting.

A few days ago, Oratile who was very close to his mother penned a heartfelt message about the kind of relationship they had. He also spoke about the great time they spend together.

A bad dream I’m never ever gonna wake up from.
No one loved me like you did, no one cared for me like you did, no one sacrificed for me like you did, no one prayed for me like you did, no one protected me like you did, no one shaped me like you did, NO ONE MADE ME HAPPY LIKE YOU.

Today I’m on my knees, looking up and saying thank you for the times we spend here on earth together, for all the times we cried, laughed, jumped, screamed, played, baked, prayed, watched TV, did dishes together. If I had to choose another mother again, I’D CHOOSE YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN,” Oratile said.

I won’t ever stop celebrating your power, courage, talent, strength, drive and determination, what you did for this industry and how you inspired a lot of us. I’m trying my Best to pick where you left off and I hope you’re proud of me.”
