After 13 years of entertaining viewers, the e.tv soapie aired its last episode on 16 July 2021. This was not only sad news for fans, it also meant that the cast and crew members were now going to be unemployed. One of the cast members who was making a name for himself on the show was Bohlokwa. The upcoming actor joined Rhythm City in October 2020, playing the character of Zak, the love child between Ziyanda and Khulekani. The character brough the much needed drama, as he fell for his half sister.
The end of Rhythm City was definitely not the end of Bohlokwa. He has bagged himself a lead role in an interesting Showmax drama, Umnisamvula. The storyline follows Zanemvula, a young man who was rejected by his father for being blind. As expected Zanemvula grew up an outcast due to his condition. Little does his family know that blindness is not all he was born with: he can summon the rain. Now the big questions is, will he use his power to save the people who rejected him?
The drama also stars some of the best actors in the country, among them, Baby Cele, Siyabonga Shibe, Sibonile Ngubane, Melusi Yeni and Gcinile Nkosi.
