CSSD Assistant Opportunity at Mediclinic Medforum

Introduction
Mediclinic Medforum is looking for a CSSD Assistant to join the hospital in Pretoria.
The CSSD assistant is responsible for the execution of procedures and tasks to clean, prepare, pack and sterilize unsterile instruments, linen and consumables and to supply sterile requirements to theatre and other auxiliary departments in the hospital.
Requirements:
• Std 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Be able to speak, write and read English.
• Be prepared to work shifts including nightshift for certain periods.
• Relevant experience in a CSSD environment is strongly recommended.
• A person with a sense for thorough and correct outputs and the ability to perform as such even under pressure.
• A person with a high sense of responsibility toward the job.
• Working in a hospital environment previously is an advantage.
Key Outputs:
• Cleaning/sterilising of instruments.
• Packing instruments and other sterile supplies.
• Other CSSD/cleaning tasks as instructed by supervisor.
