Tito Mboweni Petitions for Robert Marawa to Come Back to Radio 2000
Tito Mboweni Petitions for Robert Marawa to Come Back to Radio 2000. It must be nice to be Robert Marawa at this particular juncture. To have a whole former Finance Minister and Former Bank Governor rooting for you to get your job back clearly shows that you are a force.
Back in July, Marawa was fired by SABC, where he anchored MSW radio show on Metro FM and Radio 2000. SABC issued a statement, but they did not reveal the reason behind his abrupt dismissal. Most of his fans were saddened by this, but such is the nature of the industry. Among those who miss Marawa on Radio 2000, is Tito Mboweni. He just took to Twitter to applaud the radio station, but noticed something was missing.
Showing that he is one of the coolest South African politicians, Mboweni wants to know what really happened to Marawa’s sports show, which was a hit on the radio station. He demands his return, and is ready to petition for Marawa’s return.
“Radio 2000 is one of the good SABC radio stations. Great line up. Always listening on my home drive to Makgobaskloof. But poor on commercial advertising income. What happened to the great Robert Marawa sports show? I missed something. Let him return! I demand.,Petition time!!,” Mboweni said.
Although this vote of confidence on Marawa is great and all, the man already scored himself a new job. The veteran media personality and sportscaster recently partnered with Arena Holdings. He now broadcast his award-winning sports show, Marawa Sport Worldwide (MSW) live on platforms such as SowetanLIVE website, Vuma FM in KwaZulu-Natal as well as Rise FM in Mpumalanga. MSW now streams live every Monday to Friday in these three platforms simultaneously.
