One of those who is having a great season as a DJ is Thuli Phongolo. She has been using social media to let her fans know where she will be performing next. Her latest bookings stretch as far as Polokwane and Cape Town.
The talented actress and DJ tweeted a month ago, on the jobs she has lined up. Among those include three running campaigns, two acting gigs, DJ gigs back-to-back, new music on the way, as well as two major contracts under her company. Thuli is currently enjoying her role on Hlomu The Wife, a telenovela that many are waiting in anticipation for. She plays the very interesting role of Lerato, whom she loves very much regardless.
Sadly Thuli has been forced to take a break from all her upcoming and current engagements. This comes after she tested positive for Covid-19. To keep herself and those around her safe, Thuli has decided to self-isolate and take medication that her doctor prescribed. She also urged the public to take care of themselves.
On Sunday, more than 680 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths were identified in South Africa. The majority of those cases, 545, are from Gauteng. The province is the most impacted, with 923 379 cases, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 516 470 cases and the Western Cape with 514 453.
