Friends in the Industry Shower Thembisa Nxumalo With Heartfelt Messages as she Clocks 39 Years. Without a doubt, she is one of the most loved TV darlings in South Africa. So it was a given that Thembisa Nxumalo was going to trend today as she celebrates her 39th birthday.
Although she has had her fair share of drama, on a professional level, the award winning TV personality and talented actress has been consistent for years. Thembisa began her career as a Wits radio newsreader. She later left to present Highveld After Dark, on 94.7 Highveld Stereo. Thembisa then ventured into acting with a role in one of Mzansi’s best-known plays, The Road, in which she portrayed Thabisile Cebekhulu.
A lot of people came to appreciate her talent as a host on Mzansi Magic show, Our Perfect Wedding. It was for this gig that she bagged the Most Popular TV Presenter at the Golden Horn Awards. Thembisa has also been on so many shows, among them Unmarried, The Queen, 2 Families and a Wedding Dress, Not A Diva as well as her most recent show, Amazing Voices Africa She has also worked at Metro FM where she hosted the Saturday morning breakfast program alongside MoG for a year.
For her birthday, Thembisa regards herself as a star, and is looking forward to an even more prosperous future.
