Anele Zondo Ventures Into Music
Anele Zondo Ventures Into Music. The greatest thing about the entertainment industry is its broadness. One can be a media personality, an actress, a musician, an influencer, a content creator, among so many other gigs. That is why most of our personalities are forever booked and busy.
One person who is enjoying this advantage to the full is Anele Zondo. She first appeared on television in the recurring role of a receptionist in the second season of the Mzansi Magic drama series It’s Complicated. She then bagged a cameo role an episode of another Mzansi Magic drama, Saints and Sinners. Anele also showed her acting skills on the the 1Magic soapie The River.
Anele is also a talented TV personality, having hosted some of the biggest shows. In 2017, she auditioned for the MTV Base VJ Search, making it to the Top 10. Also in 2017, Anele began shadowing the two presenters of Massive Music, Lalla Hirayama and Smash Afrika, which led to her becoming a permanent presenter on the show. In 2020, Anele became the new host of the SABC1 reality competition series One Mic, replacing Bontle Modiselle.
Expanding her portfolio in the industry, Anele has now ventured into music. Come Friday, she will drop her debut single “Ingwe” featuring Given Zulu.
