Thuli Phongolo Bags a Role In An Upcoming Showmax Original Telenovela. Looking at the cast, Hlomu the Wife is definitely going to be interesting. Just the other day Abdul Khoza and Mbalenhle Mavimbela revealed that they have been cast on the telenovela. Abdul will play Nqoba while Mbalenhle will star on the telenovela, to take on the lead role of Hlomu.
Thuli Phongolo has also revealed that she is part of the cast. The talented actress, influencer and DJ tweeted yesterday on the jobs she has lined up. Among those include three running campaigns, two acting gigs, DJ gigs back-to-back, new music on the way, as well as two major contracts under her company. Talk about a woman chasing her own paper!
Those who missed Thuli do her thing as an actress, should be happy that she is making a comeback. She is part of Hlomu The Wife cast, a telenovela that many are waiting in anticipation for. Hlomu the Wife is inspired by one of Dudu’s books which follows the lives of the eight Zulu brothers, a formidable crime family, through the eyes of the wives they marry.

The lead role of Mqhele will be played by Bonko Khoza. Other cast members include, Swelihle Luthuli as Ntsika, Kwenzo Ngcobo as Qhawe, Sipho Ndlovu as Sambulo, Swelihle Luthuli as Ntsika as well as Ishmauel Songo as Mpande.
