Statement! Gauteng Government to Take Legal Action Against Independent Media Group. The story get confusing by the minute. This morning(Wednesday 27th) in a press conference called by Independent Media some shocking revelations were made about the Decuplets who started making headlines in June this year.
Known as Tembisa 10, these babies were allegedly given birth to by one Gosiame Thamara Sithole who took to media to share her breaking news story. Within a few days, many suspected loopholes in her story, as there were no signs of 10 babies ever being born at the in the country. Gauteng Provincial also issued a statement saying they have no Records of the decuplets. According to the statement none of the public and private hospitals in the province have a record of this birth.
Today, things took a major turn at the press conference when professional obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Mpho Pooe confirmed that indeed Sithole gave birth to those babies via caesarean. At the press conference, it was also revealed that Sithole was told to give the babies up for adoption and that the money to deliver and everything else will be sorted. Two of the babies sadly passed away, as for the eight their whereabouts still remains a mystery.
While tweeps weighed in on this new information, the Gauteng Government has also pitched in. They will be taking legal action against the Independent Media Group. In a media statement that has jut been released, Gauteng Government take this as serious allegations made against medical practitioners, nursing staff and hospital management without any evidence. They maintain that the Tembisa 10 were not delivered at any of their facilities, and tests conducted on Sithole showed no signs of recent pregnancy.
