Refilwe Modiselle Bags A Cool Hosting Gig. Nothing beats getting a gig that has something to do with a great cause that involves young people. Refilwe Modiselle is all smiles after being announced as the host of #BeTheVoice event. This is an All4YOUth SSA Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Alliance event which is held annually on youth month.

The Alliance for YOUth (or all4YOUth) is an alliance of like-minded companies working together to help young people around the globe get the necessary skills to thrive in the world of work. Its primary objective is to create and implement employability programmes, mentor-ship and training initiatives that will equip the youth with essential workplace skills.

Just like many events which continue to take place during the Covid-19 pandemic, the event will be held online. The All4YOUTH Online Webinar will take place on June 15th 2021. As the host, Refilwe will help drive the dialogue between young people dialogue about issues such as culture, body positivity, disabilities, gender inclusion and structural challenges.

As I facilitate a panel discussion on Diversity & Inclusion in all spheres of work in celebration of youth month in South Africa.  It’s going to be lit….The content we show up for,” Refilwe announced.

Without a doubt, Refilwe is a perfect host for this event. She is one of the most inspirational celebrities in the country. As the first model with Albinism, the media personality, award winning actress and model has been moving mountains in the industry for many years.

For her first role in an international film, White Gold, Refilwe bagged a Best Actress Award at The African Film Festival in Dallas Texas. For the same film, she also scooped another international award, at the 2020 Africa Film For Impact Festival (AFFIF) and Awards.

A month ago in April, Refilwe once again made history as she bagged her first magazine cover. To make her debut as a cover girl extra special, she covered international publication, Intelligent Magazine. The UK magazine is for inquisitive minds, people, travel, culture and so much more. On the magazine, the phenomenal Refilwe speaks about prejudices and the horrific persecution people with albinism still suffer today.
