Kings of Joburg Bags An International Award Nomination. The show indeed goes on. When Shona Ferguson passed away end of July this year, a lot of people spoke highly of him. The award winning actor and executive producer touched a lot of lives and shaped so many careers. Hence after his passing, they promised to carry the legacy under the slogan, #TheShoGoesOn.

One of the productions that many will surely remember Ferguson by is hit movie Kings Of Joburg. The highly anticipated series dropped in November 2020 and became an instant hit. The star studded series, had so much impact that it caught the attention of The African American Film Critics Association. The association that gives various annual awards for excellence in film and television, named Kings of as one of their monthly recommendation of movies, TV shows and streaming titles in January this year.

More great and even bigger things are coming as Kings of Joburg gets an international award nomination. The series has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series in Africa at the HAP Awards.

The greatest news of them all is that Shona has been nominated for Best Lead Lead Drama in a series at the same awards.
